Immunity
The nutrients with the strongest research backing for immune function.
Vitamin C, zinc, and vitamin D do most of the heavy lifting. Quercetin is the bioflavonoid worth adding when seasons change. For families, our kids gummies cover the same essentials at age-appropriate doses.
Immunity is a daily project, not a winter rescue.
The body's immune system is constantly active. Most people only think about it when they get a cold, but the research consistently points to baseline nutrient status as the bigger lever. Adults who are vitamin D deficient (most UK adults from October to April) or zinc deficient (more common than commonly realised) have measurably different immune responses.
Vitamin C is the most studied immune nutrient. Zinc is the most under-consumed. Vitamin D is the most seasonally relevant. Quercetin is the active research compound that complements all three.
A daily multi-nutrient approach beats reactive single-nutrient mega-dosing. We have built our immunity range around that principle.
What actually supports the immune system.
- Normal function of the immune system (GB Authorised Health Claim)
- Normal function of the immune system during and after intense physical exercise (GB Authorised Health Claim)
- Protection of cells from oxidative stress (GB Authorised Health Claim)
- Reduction of tiredness and fatigue (GB Authorised Health Claim)
- Normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin, blood vessels, bones, cartilage, gums and teeth (GB Authorised Health Claim)
- Increases iron absorption (GB Authorised Health Claim)

Immunity FAQs.
Why combine vitamin C, zinc, and quercetin?
Each works on different parts of the immune response. Vitamin C is involved in white blood cell function and antioxidant protection. Zinc supports immune cell development and signalling. Quercetin is a bioflavonoid being studied for its synergy with vitamin C. Together they cover more immune pathways than any single nutrient alone.
Can I take all four products at once?
Yes. The doses are designed to be taken together within a normal day. Vitamin C is best with food (improves iron absorption). Zinc is best on an empty stomach (or at least 2 hours away from iron supplements). Quercetin is fine any time. Spread them across the day for the easiest tolerability.
Are these gummies suitable for vegans?
Yes. Our Kids Immune Support Gummies use plant-based pectin instead of gelatin. They are naturally coloured with purple carrot juice concentrate (not artificial dyes). Suitable for vegetarian, vegan, and halal diets.
How much vitamin D should I take?
The UK Government recommends 10µg (400IU) daily for the entire population during autumn and winter. Our Vitamin D3 4000IU is a higher therapeutic dose (100µg/day) used by people working to address established deficiency or who get very little sunlight year-round. If you have not had your levels checked recently, your GP can do a simple blood test.
Is quercetin safe during pregnancy?
There is limited safety data for high-dose quercetin supplementation during pregnancy. We recommend consulting your midwife or GP before starting it if you are pregnant or trying to conceive. The other immune nutrients (vitamin C, zinc, vitamin D within recommended ranges) are considered safe during pregnancy.
Will these products prevent colds?
No supplement can claim to prevent illness. What the GB Authorised Health Claims say is that vitamin C, zinc, and vitamin D contribute to the normal function of the immune system. A well-functioning immune system is what your body uses to manage common infections; nutrient adequacy supports that. Anyone claiming a supplement "prevents colds" is overstating what the evidence supports.
