Modern Slavery Statement
Modern Slavery Statement
A voluntary statement on our supply chain, due diligence, and how to report concerns. Updated annually.
Our position.
BioMirco Ltd is a small UK-registered company that does not meet the statutory turnover threshold (£36 million) requiring a formal Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
We publish this statement voluntarily because we believe transparency about supply chains is part of being a trustworthy brand, no matter our size.
Who we are.
BioMirco Ltd (company number 14013075) is a small UK fertility supplement brand registered in England. We design and sell food supplements manufactured at a UK GMP-certified facility and tested by an independent third-party laboratory.
We do not own factories. We do not directly employ manufacturing or warehouse staff. Our supply chain consists of: ingredient suppliers, our UK manufacturing partner, our third-party testing laboratory, and our fulfilment partner.
Our supply chain.
- UK GMP manufacturing partner. A long-standing UK-based contract manufacturer audited under Good Manufacturing Practice. Workforce protections fall under UK employment law.
- Ingredient suppliers. Primarily UK and EU-based, with documented provenance. We prefer suppliers with their own published modern slavery statements (where their turnover requires one).
- Independent testing laboratory. UK-based, UKAS-accredited.
- Fulfilment partner. UK-based warehouse and pick-and-pack provider, paying at least the Real Living Wage.
Due diligence.
For each supplier and partner we work with, we:
- Request their own modern slavery statement (where their size requires one) and review it.
- Visit or video-walk through the facilities of any new manufacturing partner before signing a contract.
- Build into our supplier contracts a clause requiring them to comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and to notify us of any concerns.
- Refuse to work with any supplier sanctioned for human trafficking, forced labour, or child labour.
Training.
All BioMirco team members receive a short briefing on recognising the signs of modern slavery and on the process for raising concerns. The directors review this statement annually.
Reporting concerns.
If you have a concern about modern slavery or labour practices anywhere in our supply chain, please email hello@biomirco.com. Concerns can be raised anonymously and will be investigated.
You can also report concerns directly to the UK Modern Slavery Helpline on 08000 121 700, or via modernslaveryhelpline.org.
Approval.
This statement was approved by the board of directors of BioMirco Ltd in June 2026 and is reviewed annually.
