The choices we have made.
UK manufacturing.
Every BioMirco formula is manufactured in the United Kingdom at our GMP-certified partner facility. No overseas contract manufacturing, no air-freight finished product. Shorter supply chains, smaller carbon footprint.
Vegan across the range.
Every product is 100% vegan. Capsule shells are plant-based HPMC. Vitamin D3 in our family formulas is sourced from lichen, not lanolin.
Recyclable packaging.
Our bottles are PET, kerbside-recyclable in UK local authority collections. Outer cartons are FSC-certified card. We do not use plastic shrink-wrap or single-use plastic inserts.
Ingredient sourcing.
We work with suppliers who can document their ingredient origin and quality processes. Selenium yeast, natural ubiquinone CoQ10, and our 5-MTHF folate are all sourced from established European specialists.
Where we want to do better.
Refill formats
Exploring a pouch refill option for Subscribe and Save customers, reducing bottle waste by up to 70% per repeat order.
Carbon-measured delivery
Partnering with a delivery provider that publishes per-parcel carbon costs and offset options at checkout.
Annual transparency report
Publishing an annual sustainability report from 2027 with audited figures on emissions, packaging, and ingredient traceability.
We are not a carbon-neutral brand.
We do not claim certifications we have not earned. We are not B-Corp certified, we have not measured our full operational carbon footprint, and we do not currently offset our shipping emissions. We will not pretend otherwise.
